Sickly again so it was another weekend at home. Thankfully, the Dirty Hippie is crafty and willing to travel! So she spent the weekend with us to watch too many movies (Dune, Incredibles, Harold & Maude, the second season of Extras) and working on a couple of sewing projects. It was a fun weekend.
Our accomplishments were for my Other Mother costume which is coming along rather nicely. It’s almost finished – whee.
We made the rooster oven mitt and the apron on Saturday.
Sewing with Katy means that I get to learn all of the parts of the rooster as I’m sewing a mitt of it. I love my rocking waddle:
